I enjoy using old tools, and have been putting together my own set for all my working life - adding to them as needed or when opportunity presents.
That old Stanley number 8 was made about the time my grandfather was born. I am a grandfather myself now - it is old.
It took me years to find the Stanley jointer fence - there were few available then. Now they seem to come up for sale more frequently.
Good luck with your own project. The Village Woodworkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08357757946377220970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7009842661178078975.post-10314930999169766882012-01-07T14:10:14.540-08:002012-01-07T14:10:14.540-08:00I have been reading back through your mirror proje...I have been reading back through your mirror project - nice one. I might try something like this with narrow strips of oak I've salvaged from a table. You've got some great tools there - love that jointer with the fence.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12042650405946029324noreply@blogger.com
